The girls had a lot of fun visiting with Aunt Julia and Uncle Dan.

Leila and Grandma are waiting for Saadia to finish her classes at Kingsborough College for Kids near Manhattan Beach.

Saadia and Leila love going to Coney Island for the rides and the fireworks. They also like to see our hometown team, the Brooklyn Cyclones.

Jessie shared this picture with us and thought we might like to put it on the blog. Some years ago, Saadia was on a set with Jessie, and Sydney Pollack was directing it (you can see him bent over the camera in the background). He was the great director of such films as Tootsie, Out of Africa and The Firm and just recently passed away. Saadia also saw Nicole Kidman on this shoot.
