Every high school student in PA needs to do a Senior Project

that helps the community in some way or that creates awareness.

Saadia's project is about creating awareness for Ovarian Cancer

and supporting research for all women's cancers.

Here she is making bookmarks with the Girls Scouts to be added into

comfort baskets for women in the area going through chemo through

the Mrs. Claus Foundation.

Leila's troop was really happy to be doing this and helping Saadia.

They did a great job :)

Leila's Girl Scout Troop went to the Carnegie Museum.

They had a lot of fun :)

 Saadia turned from helper to bad influence in the fossil area - haha!!!

 Ok, this picture is a bit blurry because I had to get it in before security got us for touching the fossil. 

This must have been the girls favorite area.

They loved seeing all the gems and minerals.

We haven't had that much snow,

but luckily they were able to take advantage of a bit of it before it melted :)

Suprisingly for loading the sled up they got down the hill pretty fast :)

Luckily, we have had some nice weather so that Leila could ride her new bicycle.

It was so nice to see Joe and Mindy over the holidays!

American Girl

Leila was so excited to visit American Girl with her new Marie-Grace doll from Santa.

 Grandma is taking a break from wrapping, hope she has enough time to finish before Santa comes:)

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa, all the American Girls have a place to sleep :)

Leila was so excited that her design won the contest for the Girl Scout

100th Anniversary Patch for the Cranberry Area in PA. Here she is accepting a medal for it.

She is looking forward to seeing her design as an actual patch soon.

The weather was beautiful over the Thanksgiving weekend

that we were able to spend some time at Manhattan Beach.
