Beautiful day for planting with my little helper :)

Leila and her friend Erin, that lives next door, had a great time at the local carnival.

The girls had fun seeing the animals and we got to pick out nice plants
to plant for Mother's Day :)

Saadia on her way to NY with her school chorus groups.
They have a packed itinerary. She is going to see Phantom of the Opera on broadway, performing at St. Malachy's chapel, touring Manhattan, dinner cruise, great adventure, and going to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Leila's class went on a trip to the zoo. I was lucky enough to be picked as chaperone :)
The weather was beautiful and the class had a great time!

Leila loved this tunnel through the sting rays.

Leila's Girl Scout troop visited Petco. The girls had a great time seeing all the different kinds of pets and how to take care of them. The only bad part was getting 13 girls out of the store without buying any animals. I'm sure that was bad for Petco too, since it must be there whole master plot in inviting the girl scout troops to there store.

Leila took a liking to this ferret, which definitely was not coming home with us, even though Leila insisted it was so cute and loved her.

Leila is pointing to a "chocolate chip" sea star :)

Leila had an Art Show at her school. We are so proud of our little artist :)

This is one of my favorites. They cut a picture of an animal out and then put them in the spaceship flying through out of space.

Leila had a great playdate with her friend MaryKate.
They had fun at the park by our house and of course their American Girls came along too :)

An older girl scout troop put on a Princess Ball for all the Daisy troops in our area. The girls had a great time dressing up and acting like princesses. Leila got to wear her flower girl dress from Jenna and JP's wedding.
